Understand Finance explains economics and finance with models you can touch. Each page takes a single idea — a market mechanism, a policy, a landmark paper — and pairs a clear written explanation with interactive charts. You move a slider, the model responds, and the idea stops being abstract.

Why

Most explanations of economics are either too vague to be useful or too technical to follow. Interactive models sit in between: they keep the logic of the real thing, but let you discover it by experimenting instead of memorising formulas.

How the pages are made

• One topic per page, explained from intuition to model to real-world example.
• Simplified on purpose. Every model leaves things out so that the core mechanism is visible. Each page says what the model ignores.
• Sources. Real-world examples and papers are cited so you can check them. When a page simplifies a paper’s result, it says so.
• Two languages. Every page is available in English and in Italian.
